Artist Biography

Katherine Finkelstein grew up in Los Angeles and received her BA in photography from Bard College in 2007. She lives and works as a photographer in New York City, freelancing for The Daily News.

Artist Statement

My photography is an ode to my cravings. Saturated colors, sexy flowers, sunlit flesh. An attempt to satiate all those desperate yearnings for the other: to touch, to feel, to capture. Youth expressed in lethargic ecstasy, a small sliver of lazy sensuality.
